Ivan Kononykhin: "Kryvbas" are not just words. Here is a real family

Before the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine, Ivan Konononin moved to Kryvyi Rih from Donetsk region. The young footballer then played Shakhtar and was invited to the Kryvbas Academy.

Ivan was born and lived in Makeevka, in Donetsk region. He started playing football from the age of 8. Before the start of a full -scale invasion of orcs, the guy moved to Kryvyi Rih, where he lives now, on the basis of the Academy. Ivan's family is still under occupation, he tries to keep in touch with them as far as possible. He says that parents keep him and do not tell the terrible things that happen there.

- Makeevka has parents who look after grandparents. When the war began, terrible things happened there. Now that I communicate with my parents, they hardly tell me the details what is really going on, - Ivan said.

For a little more than a year the young footballer has lived on the basis of the Academy. He says that the conditions, attitudes, team, training process are very much liked.

Ivan confesses that he went to the Academy to develop and become a professional football player. He is now 14 years old, he plays the Kryvbas team U-16 at number 9 on the position of the right defender. The guy trains and dreams of his time to get to the main team of FC Kryvbas.
