Kapinus Dmytro

Lieutenant Colonel. Head of the Physical Training and Sports Service of Military Unit 3011 of the National Guard of Ukraine. He has been in military service since 2014. He began his career in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), where he worked as a rescuer.

He joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine in 2017. During 2017-2021, he took an active part in combat operations in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation. He performed combat missions in the Kurakhiv and Vuhledar directions, as well as in the areas of Mariupol, Lebedynsky, Hnutove, Talakivka and Volnovakha.

With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he continued to defend Ukraine. In 2022, he performed combat missions in the areas of Novomykhailivka (Maryinsky direction) and Velyka Novoselka. In 2023, he served in the Kherson direction, and in 2024, he participated in hostilities near Urozhayne and Staromayorske.

While performing combat missions in 2024, he was slightly wounded, after which he continued his service in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. For courage, professionalism, and conscientious performance of official duties, he was awarded the state award "For Military Service to Ukraine", as well as the departmental award of the National Guard of Ukraine "For Valiant Service".
