Abdulmajid Danladi, a goalkeeper for the youth team of Kryvyi Rih’s Kryvbas, has received an invitation to the training camp of the Nigerian U-23 Olympic national team.
The national team’s training camp is scheduled for mid-November. During this period, the Nigerian side will play two qualifying matches against the Democratic Republic of the Congo on November 13 and 17.
This marks the goalkeeper’s first-ever call-up to his country’s Olympic national team. An invitation to the U-23 squad represents a significant milestone in the footballer’s career and an opportunity to showcase his abilities on the international stage.
This season, Danladi has made one appearance for the U-21 side and has also been named to the matchday squad for the first team in the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) on two occasions. In total, since 2024, the goalkeeper has played 17 official matches for the club: 16 for the U-19 team and one for the U-21 team.
FC Kryvbas congratulates Abdulmajid on his maiden call-up to the Nigerian U-23 national team and wishes him every success in the upcoming matches!
