Ante Bekavac: Describe yourself? Hard work, passion, discipline, perseverance

The Croatian midfielder of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Ante Bekavac became the hero of another issue FOCUS ON on club YouTube.

- Ante, today we literally chased you throughout the entire training session. What do you expect from this video?

- Today was the training session after the day off. It was medium intensity: lots of games and lots of ball exercises. I think it was fun.

- What does a perfect training session mean to you? What is your favorite part of the training session?

- Maybe it's working with the ball before or after the main training session. For me, it's ideal when the entire training session is with the ball, when you work 100 percent and at the same time have fun.

- Are there any specific ball exercises that you like the most?

- Ball control, shots, passes - something like that.

- Do you remember training sessions from your childhood? What motivated you to go out on the field every day?

- When I was a kid, everything in football was a joy for me. That's what motivated me to go to training. My idol was Cristiano Ronaldo, but it wasn't about him. The main thing is the joy of playing football with friends on the field.

- Did your family have any traditions after training? For example, a joint dinner or a trip to a cafe?

- My mother cooks very well, and everything was delicious - both food and cakes. It's hard to single out something. As a child, after a good training session, there was always the thought that something nice was waiting for you at home or after it. Sometimes, when my dad picked me up, we would go for ice cream and juice. It was a real joy.

- What ice cream did you like the most?

- Croatian fruit ice cream Contiki.

- Who in the team jokes the most during training? Who is the funniest?

- I think it's Bar Lin. He's funny in his own right. When he goes on the field - his movements, his mood, everything about him creates a positive atmosphere.

- Have you kept anything from your childhood, like your first uniform?

- I have a Hajduk Split shirt. It's special to me because I played there for 7-8 years and I'm a fan of this club.

- If you had to describe yourself, so that people would immediately understand your values, what words would you choose?

- Hard work, passion, discipline, perseverance.

- If you could invite little Ante to training today, what would you tell him?

- Just play football and have fun.
