Antoni Maskaro: Together with Kryvbas, new opportunities are opened before me

New senior coach of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas U-19, 26-year-old Spanish specialist Antoni Maskaro gave the first interview in a new position.

- Antoni, congratulate you in the Kryvbas family. Please tell me when you received this offer?

- about two weeks ago I received a proposal from Marios Alexandris. We talked, and the next day I told the club that he was ready to come. After all, I think that it is with this club that new opportunities are opened before me. I was extremely interested in the philosophy of FC Kryvbas and the strategy of development of young academy players for the first team.

- How did you start your coaching journey?

- began his coaching career in the hometown. At the age of 22 he started working at the Vilmarreal Football Academy, where he spent two years. The last season I was an assistant of the head coach in FC Atletico Balearez-a Spanish club from the city of Palma de Majorka. I'm here already here, with you.

- What did you know about Ukrainian football before?

- I am not very well familiar with all the football realities of Ukrainian football. However, I have always heard about talented Ukrainian players - Dovbik, Tsigankov, Lunin, and, of course, the legend - Shevchenko. In general, I know about a considerable number of successful players from Ukraine. I believe that with our strategy and vision of football we will be able to help players of the Kryvbas Academy to reach a high level.

- what will be in your duties?

- I am the senior coach of the team, so I will be responsible for all aspects of work: the result, the development of players, a comfortable and friendly atmosphere in the team and the coaching staff. The main goal is to raise as many players of the Academy as possible for the Kryvbas Main Team.
