Antoni Masсaro: Happy that team acted as the only coordinated mechanism
Comments after the match of the 7th round of the UPL 2025\2026 UPL Youth Championship "Kryvbas" U-19 - "Kudrivka" U-19 - 2:0.
Antoni Mascaro, head coach of FC "Kryvbas" U-19:
- Due to the air alarm, the start of the match was delayed - both teams were forced to wait for more than two hours. This, of course, complicated the preparation and setup for the game. Despite this, our team started the match well: the guys opened the score - 1:0. In the first half, we showed a high-quality, organized game. However, as often happens, the second half turned out to be much more difficult.
I am happy that today the guys were able to overcome all the difficulties, cope with emotions and act as a single coordinated mechanism. I believe that the players deserve time to rest and recover. This also applies to the entire coaching staff. Personally, I continue to work - I am already preparing a plan for next week. Overall, we will continue to work hard to grow as a team and develop individually.
Maksym Shpylka, forward of FC Kryvbas U-19:
- Emotions are bright. I was sure that we would win. I am happy that I managed to score my debut goal for the team. I think the victory is well deserved. My goal? I took out the opponent on a swing, and accurately shot into the far corner in the last minutes. Overall, the match seemed difficult. We had the advantage and scored a goal in each half. We are moving on.
