Antoni Mascaro: The boys' performances are getting better every day

Antoni Mascaro, head coach of FC "Kryvbas" U-19:

- We knew that we had to start with high pressure, attack from the first minutes. The opponents had a long journey, so we started to attack properly from the first minutes. Everything went as we planned, so I am very satisfied. It is impossible to play without discipline. You need to have individuality and character to attack, defend and take the balls. But, of course, tactics are also very important for us. The guys understood perfectly what they had to do in this game, and they did everything perfectly.

Right now we don't have so many players for training, so we play a lot in a limited space, and I think this improves their relationships. So, I think they did well. The boys' performances are getting better every day. They are working on it, on improving. We have a lot of players who didn't play much in the first round, so we think they need more playing minutes - that way they will gain more confidence.

There are always players with different characters, different spirits, and they demonstrate this leadership to others. But it doesn't matter who is the leader and who is not - we need everyone to play their role. Maybe some leaders showed themselves today, and in a few weeks others will become them. So we are happy about that.

Miracle Williams, midfielder of FC Kryvbas U-19:

- This victory will be remembered, but my first goal in the match. Because I missed the first opportunity, so I was looking for another chance to fix everything. So yes, I remember my first goal. The team spirit was at a pretty high level today, although we still have a lot to work on and we are working hard towards it step by step. But today, I think the team spirit was really impressive. We are really progressing and moving forward every day.
