Arda Turan: Kryvbas' organization and fighting spirit are worth praising

Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Arda Turan commented on the home draw with Kryvyi Rih Kryvyi Rih - 2:2 in the 14th round of the UPL.

- We shouldn't have conceded such easy goals, especially with the support of the home stands. These conceded goals were the result of standard situations, where we should have acted more carefully. Unfortunately, we didn't succeed today. What I didn't like: at certain moments of the match we had to act outside the usual plan. Therefore, we will definitely work on this in the next cycle of preparation for the next matches. Somewhere you can say that we lost two points, but today, I think we gained one important point.

I think we created enough scoring opportunities that we should have realized better. You can recall the episodes with the participation of Eguinaldo, Marlon and Cowan, when they had a chance to score in the last minutes. But, unfortunately, there is no "if" story in football. Our opponent played well: they deservedly achieved this result, organized the game at a high level and created significant difficulties for us. Their organization and fighting spirit are to be commended.

I am satisfied with the physical condition of my team. In fact, they even exceeded expectations. In this match, we made substitutions in the positions we considered necessary. We lacked productivity and the execution of the created chances. There are unpleasant days in football, and it is important to draw the right conclusions from them. 

Argument with the Kryvbas coaches? Such things happen on the football field - it is part of the game. Specifically, during the game, the episode concerned disrespect towards me from the Kryvbas bench. Of course, tension on the field can lead to quarrels, but some things are better left untouched. I am sorry that I exploded, but I do not consider it necessary to apologize for my words at that moment. You saw what happened: I wanted to express my position directly. In football, such situations happen, and it's also part of the game.
