Artem Gagarin: The colors of the new uniform of "Kryvbas" symbolize struggle, resistance, defiance and the way to victory

- Artem Serhiyovych, in the game with "LNZ" our team came out in a new form. Tell us a little more about her. Why these colors?
- I have already said that the design of the new form is dedicated to the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence. A struggle that lasts not three, not ten years in a row, but for centuries.
Why black and red colors? Well, these colors were very often used in Ukrainian history, their combination could be seen on flags and mayovets, in clothes and jewelry, in paintings and in the everyday life of ordinary Ukrainians.
As ideological colors, they were used by the Zaporozhian Cossacks, the Ukrainian Sich riflemen during the First World War. It was the red and black flag that the UPA soldiers raised and now our soldiers are going into battle with it. These colors symbolize struggle, resistance, defiance and the path to victory. Therefore, these colors are more relevant than ever, because the struggle continues!
- In the club photo session, Bandeira presented a new set of red and black uniforms. TsIs it a coincidence?
- Well, not only him, but also other Cossacks: Oleksandr, Andriy and Ivan. It was important for us to convey meaning and show all the details. After all, this is not just equipment, it is much more.
In addition to the two colors that symbolize the Ukrainian land and the blood of fighters spilled on it in the struggle for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. I would pay attention to the font...
This is a unique Ruthenia font, which is recognized as a real Ukrainian Cyrillic, which was used in our lands even before 1710. From the author Vasyl Chebanyk.
One of the most important elements of this form, in my opinion, were lines from the Prayer of a Ukrainian Nationalist. Which was written back in 1936, but today this text remains as relevant as it was almost 100 years ago.
In addition to the already familiar slogan encrypted in the #RP chevron, the coat of arms symbol of the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian nation was used on the uniform. This coat of arms is a reminder to everyone that the fight continues! And it continues until we win!

- You can see an unusual logo on the uniform. Is this the new logo from now on?
- No. Not quite. This is a modernized, so to speak modernized logo. We have already used it on the training uniform and received good feedback from the fans. We just replaced the ball in the middle with the inscription FCKK, which is formed by six stripes - it not only looks modern, but also somehow more combative. But we use this logo only on the third kit.
- Artem Serhiyovych, does the club justify the step it took? I am talking about cooperation with a new technical partner.
- All 100%! We perceive the SKIDAN brand as part of our Club, with which we create things that are convenient and comfortable; things that are created with all needs and desires in mind. Well, the most important thing is that it is a Ukrainian brand, from Kryvyi Rih, which will definitely not start cooperating with the aggressor country. By the way, did you know that this t-shirt is super light. It weighs less than 150 grams with all elements and chevrons. This was achieved thanks to high-quality natural Italian fabric. It is very elastic and this is also its plus, because now in football it is the norm to pull on a T-shirt and shorts, but this does not stop our boys. Sometimes the shirt stretches up to half a meter, which gives an additional advantage and does not stop our players, no matter how much the opponents want it.

- Well, of course, at the stadium - offline, and finally, I can inform you that everyone can do it in our fanshop. - You know, for Kryvbas, red and black are the colors in which the team first won bronze awards back in 1999. And now, 25 years later, we are wearing these colors again. We believe in Kryvyi Rih! We believe in Ukraine!
