Artem Gagarin: Before the start of UPL we were the initiators of cancellation of matches transfer

- For these two games, I am not ashamed of the boys or the club. I saw the desire, the desire, they played with the strongest team that we could fall out in this stage. There were moments, there were mistakes, there was arbitration - everything was. We did not lose any licoric, because last season Viktoria played in the quarterfinals and, apparently, it says something. So thank you, team. 

I wanted to thank the fans who created a cool atmosphere. This is a forgotten feeling for us - to play at a crowded stadium. Support was not only in Victoria, but also with us. Also, in every interview, I do not stop thanking our defenders and defenders. Thanks to them, we can play and develop football in Ukraine. 

- Okay, and what Viktoria out of the pole? 

- For these two matches we have a cool relationship with representatives of Victoria: from the coach and players to the management and the president. They rated very high Kryvbas. 

During the communication, the Czech side expressed its admiration for Ukraine and Ukrainians. They do not understand how we play football during the war. It is something incredible for them. We thanked them for their support, because it was one of the clubs that the first support Ukraine was the first to start a full -scale invasion.

- Betis the class is much stronger than the class Victoria . What can you offer Kryvbas ?

- yes, indeed, Betis can be shaken by the presence of players that cost tens of millions and decide on our own matches, but we have Yurii Vernydub and there is a team. Yuri Nikolaevich is able to make sensations. I believe in our team, because otherwise why do football and go out on the field, if not believing? !

- with the Spaniards Vernydub in talented. Hope for something like Bilbao of dawn or Madrid in Sheriff and ?

- to talk only about the state will be disrespectful to Yuri Nikolaevich. In general, we must say that we have a classy coach. A person who deserves respect not only as a football specialist, because everyone began to forget about 2022, when Yuri Nikolaevich, having a valid contract abroad, learning about what was happening here, returned to Ukraine and joined the Armed Forces. And, importantly, he did not cover his contract and obligations to the club, but came directly from the match of the Europa League. 

Yuri Nikolaevich 58 years, but he pulled the shells, was a crowd, traveled to positions, worked on hostile positions, arrivals and on the enemy side, were contained, were also dead brothers. It coincided that he defended our country in the Kryvyi Rih direction, when the enemy was 50 kilometers from our city. All this is a separate respect and gratitude to him. And to those who try to depreciate all this, as they say, God is a judge.

- Before the championship, we were the initiators of cancellation of matches. We understood the consequences, but these are the levels of the conditions for all we always talk about. The decision was made with two exceptions: the clubs went to meet the Olympic national team and the teams that came out in the European Cup playoffs. 

part of the matches of the first round was transferred, and there was an agreement if the Olympians would go out to the playoffs, to take it as a force majeure and to carry the matches of teams in which two or more representatives of the Olympic team. Also, clubs that have published in the playoffs of the European Cup qualifications can postpone their match at the initiative of other UPL clubs. It was agreed in advance though we voted against but the decisions made the majority.

As for the game with Ingulets, we will still remain in our position and will not carry the match. We plan to return from Slovakia to Kryvyi Rih, play the match, go to Moldova, sit on the plane and fly to Spain. We have been living at this pace since early August. We stand for equality and all must have the same conditions. All ! from our grands - to UPL debutants
