Artur Mykytyshyn: We want to reach only the maximum result in every match

- Artur, in the match with "Epicentr" you opened the account with your goals in the current championship. Was that episode solely your merit?

- Perhaps only part of this merit, since the coach asks us to perform some actions in the opponent's half of the field. At that moment I did not turn off, picked up the ball, beat the opponent, got close to the goalkeeper and successfully shot.

- Last season you played more on the left in midfield, but with the arrival of Patrick van Leeuwen you moved to the right flank. How do you feel there?

- It doesn't matter much to me where the coach uses me in attacking positions. The main thing is to be useful to the team.

- Are the working principles of the Patrick van Leeuwen and Yurii Vernydub very different?

- Yes. Under Vernydub, we paid more attention to defense and going on the attack, and under van Leeuwen, the emphasis is on pressing, on winning the ball in the other half of the field, which creates more opportunities for scoring goals. I would say that we are more inclined to aggressive football, only forward, controlling the ball in the other half of the field, making more wing passes, in general, not giving the opponent time to think.

- Thanks to the victory over Epicentr, Kryvbas rose to fourth place in the standings. Is it nice to watch such a picture?

- Absolutely (smiles). Before the game, our captain said that the game with Epicenter would show what we will continue to fight for - for the top places or will we drop to the middle. In fact, all teams gain points, and in such cases every point is very important. I am pleased that Kryvbas is among the leaders and is showing decent football.

- In general, what are the goals of the team in the current championship?

- We want to achieve only the maximum result. I am sure that every football player wants to fight for the highest places, so that later they can try their hand at the international arena.

- Your next game is against LNZ. What can you say about this opponent?

- It will be a difficult match. I know many guys from this team, some of whom moved to the Cherkasy club from Kryvbas. LNZ always tries to act intensively, press, they run out well on counterattacks. I would say that this will be a game, given our places in the standings (LNZ is in sixth place), for six points.
