Assane Seck, the Senegalese midfielder for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, discussed the away match against Epitsentr Kamianets-Podilskyi in the 12th round of the UPL, which ended in a 1:1 draw.
- Congratulations on your goal! How significant was this goal for you?
- Thank you for the congratulations! Scoring a goal is a very important moment for me, as I hadn't managed to find the net in previous matches. So, I’m very happy that I was able to score today.
- The team earned one point from a 1:1 draw. How satisfied are you with the result?
- Naturally, it’s a shame we didn’t win. We had a few good opportunities and could easily have taken all three points. But in the end, it finished 1:1, so we can’t be entirely satisfied with the result. We took the field with the desire to win and bring joy to our fans.
- What is the atmosphere like within the team right now? How important is it to maintain a positive mindset during a period like this?
- There is a positive vibe in the team following this match; we have a strong team spirit. The coach talks to us every day, offering genuine support and motivation. He wants every player to give their absolute all on the pitch.
- What does the coaching staff expect from you, and how is the team responding to this trust?
- Our task is to live up to that trust: to give everything we have on the pitch, work hard in training every day, and be ready for every single match. We must push ourselves to the maximum and do everything for the sake of the team. We will work to improve our position in the standings as early as the upcoming rounds.
