Bakary Konate: Happy to score the first goal for "Kryvbas"

Malian defender of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, Bakary Konate, spoke about the home match of the 13th round of the UPL against Veres Rivne - 2:2.

- Bakary, congratulations on your debut goal for Kryvbas. Please remember the moment when it all happened?

- I am very happy. This is my first goal for the Club, and I am really happy and grateful to everyone. I hope it will not be the last. I will work even harder to score in every match, help the team, and move on.

- A good first half and a difficult second half with two goals conceded. What was the reason?

- This can happen to any team. In the first half we had the opportunity to score more, three or even four goals. We scored two in total, and that was not bad. We could have continued at the same pace and developed the advantage, but football happens differently. The opponent also made an effort to win back. We need to work even harder before the next matches.

- At the end of the match, you gave your T-shirt to a little fan of Kryvbasa. How do you feel at such moments?

- Yes, I know this boy, and for me it is a great pride. He is small, but he loves me very much, he is a big fan. He is present at every match, supports me. I felt that I had to thank him at least in this way, give him a T-shirt. This is not a reward, but a sign of gratitude for his support. I just wanted to make him happy.
