Bar Lin: Love football because it's a reason why I wake up in the morning

- What is the name of the team?

- In my previous team, everyone called me Barni. It was nice, I liked it. And here, in the new team, for now, it's just Bar Lin. Let's see, maybe they'll come up with something.

- Who is your most principled opponent?

- Probably FC Shakhtar. I know many Israeli players who played there, and it was always interesting to play against them.

- Which championship do you consider the strongest in the world?

- For me - La Liga, the Spanish championship. I like the style of play: tiki-taka, short passes. And the two greatest teams play there. Well, Barcelona is the best, of course.

- Player or coach with whom you would like to have dinner after a tough game?

- Of the players - Neymar. I always watch his videos before matches, I try to repeat these incredible actions, but, to be honest, it's very difficult. I would ask him: "Do you want to go to a party with me, have some family fun?" And of the coaches - Pep Guardiola. He coached the best team in history, so I respect him a lot.

- Favorite sports brand?

- I like Nike now. They make everything stylish and high-quality - for me it's top.

- Favorite forbidden food or drink?

- Pizza, shawarma. Especially the Israeli dish Kreplach - it's simply the best.

- What did you spend the first money you managed to earn from football on?

- To be honest, I don't really remember. Maybe dinner with friends. Oh, definitely… For shawarma.

- The word you use most often on the field?

- In my country, it's "Yalla-yalla", which means "come on, come on". And in Ukraine, it's "Spokiyno". I often hear it and use it myself.

- Which club's jersey was your first in life?

- It was Neymar's jersey from PSG. For me, it's a special thing because I respect him a lot. I even wore this T-shirt to a friend's wedding to show my respect for him. If my girlfriend lets me, I can wear it with jeans to my wedding (smiles).

- Why do you love football, and what annoys you?

- I love football because it's the reason I wake up in the morning. It's my passion. The greatest pleasure in life is playing. And what annoys me is that there are so many ups and downs in football. If you have a weak mentality, you will not be able to achieve success. You have to accept that sometimes you are at the bottom, sometimes you are at the top. But you always have to hold on. It is difficult. But we have to do it.
