Bohdan Khoma: Everyone is in good spirits - happy to be back to training

Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih goalkeeper Bohdan Khoma spoke about the team's mood after resuming training.

- After a few days off, the team is back to full training today. How did the first session go?

- We’re happy to be back. The first session went well; everyone is in good spirits and good shape. We’ll be preparing for the next match.

- How important was it to recharge a bit after the intense start to the season?

- Footballers need to recharge sometimes. We had five days off. The main thing was the mental reset, but we also needed to maintain our physical fitness during that time, so a break like this is definitely a plus.

- Did you manage to fully switch off from football during the break?

- Yes, I managed to rest completely. I spent the time with my parents and family. And I did train a little to keep in shape.

- Do you feel like you have more energy after a few days away from football?

- I do have more energy, but after three or four days, you always want to get back to training and keep working hard.

- The team is currently training without the players who have joined their national teams. How unusual is it to work with this kind of squad?

- It’s a normal process for players to go to their national teams, so everyone is used to it. Young players are brought in, so everything is fine.

- Do you keep in touch with your teammates who are currently with their national teams?

- Yes, all the guys keep in touch with them. I personally stay in constant contact with Volodymyr Vilivald - asking how he’s doing, getting updates, and rooting for him and the other national team players.
