Bohdan Shabadash: We will work on playing our own brand of football

Post-match comments following the Round 11 game of the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Women's Championship Prime League between Women Kryvbas - Women Shakhtar (0:1).

Bohdan Shabadash, Assistant Head Coach of Women Kryvbas:

- The game didn't go our way. It wasn't what we had prepared for or worked on. Players were making their own individual decisions on the pitch... I can't quite wrap my head around it right now. Today’s game certainly wasn't ours. I can single out a few key players who really gave their all and showed what they are capable of. But that’s the minority of the squad - just a few players whose performance actually satisfied me. Well, we’ll keep working, improving, and addressing the issues we faced in this match; we’ll strive to play *our* brand of football - not the kind we saw today.

Dariia Zaporozhets, Women Kryvbas forward:

- All the girls gave it their best shot. Unfortunately, the result was disappointing for us, as we needed nothing less than a win. We had chances and could have scored. As for my own performance, I could have done better, but it is what it is, so we have to move forward. In my opinion, what we lacked to achieve a positive result was perhaps more intensity on the pitch; we needed to fight harder for the ball and attack more - being more aggressive up front.
