Post-match comments following the Round 9 game of the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Women's Championship Prime League between Women Metalist 1925 and Women Kryvbas (5:1).

Bohdan Shabadash, Assistant Head Coach of WFC Kryvbas:

- We couldn't hold out. It’s tough playing against opponents like this: they are an experienced team with top-level individual skill. We had a momentary lapse in concentration - just a split-second - and conceded goals that, in my opinion, we shouldn't have let in. But unfortunately, that’s what happened. You have to maintain focus, stay switched on for every half-chance, fight hard, and not lose the physical battles. You need to show character rather than just letting the opponent walk all over you. Football is a contact sport.

On a positive note, I’d like to highlight Ulyana Soloviova, who saved two penalties. Veronika Neposhyvailenko also deserves a mention for scoring a goal. Overall, the girls did a great job; they fought hard. It’s difficult playing against teams like Metalist 1925, but they stepped up and competed. That said, I believe the final result reflects the reality of the match.

Ulyana Soloviova, Goalkeeper for Women Kryvbas:

- My emotions are very mixed. Of course, making saves always gives you a boost and gets you into the game, but looking at the scoreline... it’s hard to find the words. After the first penalty incident, when a second one was awarded, I thought my luck might have run out. But I guessed the right corner - and it all worked out perfectly.
