Bohdan Shabadash: I want to thank the girls. They gave themselves completely to this game

Comments after the match of the 7th round of the Prime League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2026/2027 Women "Kryvbas" - Women "Ladomyr" (2:1).

Bohdan Shabadash, head coach of Women "Kryvbas":

- First of all, I want to thank the girls. They clearly executed the game plan, fully devoted themselves to the match and sometimes even sacrificed themselves to realize their chances. Of course, there were a lot of moments that we failed to realize. We will correct this in the training process and improve the realization.

It was really difficult after six rounds without wins. Psychologically, this is a very difficult period - when you constantly give in, moral pressure accumulates. In addition, today we conceded a quick goal in the first minutes. However, the girls did well: they showed character again and proved that we fully deserved this victory.

Anastasiia Stakhniuk, midfielder of Women Kryvbas:

- I think there was a lot of struggle. We were very prepared for this game, and the team showed real character, gave it one hundred percent. I am happy that I managed to help the team score an assist. Moreover, I did not play the previous two matches, so for me it is a double joy. The feeling is wonderful, everyone is happy. In addition, it was a home game - we won on our home field, so the team's mood is simply wonderful.

Dariia Zaporozhets, forward of Women Kryvbas:

- We are very happy that we were able to win, especially at home. The opponent is quite strong, it is always difficult for us to play against them. But today all the girls are just great - we won very confidently. I am glad that I was able to score my goal and provide an assist.

I had other moments that I did not manage to use, but the main thing is that I realized my episode. We've been waiting for this victory for a long time. I believe it will give us a lot of strength and encouragement, and in the next matches we will be able to demonstrate an even more convincing result.
