Bohdan Shabadash: The trip to Manchester was an extremely valuable professional experience for me

The head coach of the Kryvyi Rih Women "Kryvbas" Bohdan Shabadash joined the training of Ukrainian coaches at the City Football Academy - the academy of the English giant "Manchester City". The specialist shared his impressions after completing the training.

- Share your impressions of the trip to Manchester.

- The trip to Manchester was extremely valuable for me in terms of professionalism. I was especially impressed by the organization of the club's work at all levels - from the children's and youth teams to the first. It was interesting to see how the system of training football players is built, how coaches of different age categories interact and how the club implements a single football philosophy. I was also pleasantly impressed by the openness of the specialists, the willingness to share their experiences and the high level of professionalism of each employee of the club.

- Tell me more about the training. What new things did you learn, what did you focus on?

- During the training, the main emphasis was on the development of the player through game situations, the formation of the right environment for learning and an individual approach to each football player. Much attention was paid to the principles of the game, decision-making, football intelligence and the creation of training sessions that are as close as possible to the requirements of the match. It was also interesting to get acquainted with the methods of game analysis, planning the training process and the principles of long-term training of young football players.

- How will the acquired knowledge help you in your professional activities and women's football in particular?

- Will help make the training process more qualitative, modern and effective. I plan to use new methods to develop the game thinking of football players, improve their interaction on the field and build classes through real game situations.

This is especially important for women's football, because modern requirements for the game are constantly increasing. I am sure that the introduction of new developments will contribute to the progress of football players and increase the competitiveness of the team at the national level.
