Bohdan Shabadash: A lack of psychological resilience became apparent in the second half

Comments following the Matchday 12 encounter in the Prime League of the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Women’s Championship between Women Seasters and Women Kryvbas (7:0).

Bohdan Shabadash, Assistant Head Coach of Women Kryvbas:

"It was a tough match, and the final score is far from pleasant. Unfortunately, our plans fell apart in the second half; a lack of mental resilience came into play, and, quite simply, we ran out of physical energy. Comparing the two halves, I would highlight that in the first, the girls executed the game plan precisely and maintained two solid defensive lines.

As long as we had the energy, everything worked well. In the second half, things went completely differently than we had hoped. I believe the goals we conceded were unnecessary. Now, we will work during training sessions to address the errors and issues that led to these goals."

Anastasiia Shvorin, Defender for WFC Kryvbas:

"Today’s match proved quite difficult for us. Our opponents have many experienced players in their squad, so the game was played at a high tempo with plenty of duels. I want to thank the girls for their dedication and fighting spirit. At certain moments, we lost concentration, which directly led to us conceding goals.

I am not satisfied with my own performance." We made many mistakes; in some situations, we took too long to make decisions, and there were some technical errors. We will work diligently to correct these shortcomings during training so that we don’t repeat them in future games. We keep working.
