Bohdan Shabadash: We encountered problems in individual work that affected the result

Comments after the match of the 8th round of the Prime League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2026/2027 Women "Kryvbas" - Women "Pantery" (1:1).

Bohdan Shabadash, assistant head coach of Women "Kryvbas":

- If we summarize in general, these were two completely different halves. In the first half of the match, we were completely dominant: we created many chances, which, unfortunately, we did not realize. Perhaps this is what affected the final result of the game. In the second half, some desire to play disappeared, communication and sportsmanship completely disappeared. In general, it was very difficult for us to come out after the break.

If we had realized all our chances that we had in the first half, the result would have been much better. But if the score on the scoreboard is like this - this is probably the result of the game. We are once again faced with a problem in individual work: when we need to decide the fate of the match itself, we do not decide it, instead we give our opponents half-moments. The opponent squeezed a goal out of a half-moment today, and after that everything did not go as I and the whole team would have liked. Unfortunately, this is our problem.

Anastasiia Stakhniuk, midfielder of Women "Kryvbas":

- There were many scoring opportunities. The opponents also played well, but I think we were a little stronger and had every chance to win. I think we could have scored more and definitely should have taken three points. We will prepare in the future so that we can win more often.

For us, this result is unsatisfactory. We are really very upset, because we went onto the field with the sole intention of winning. We are not satisfied with the result, so we will work hard to take three points in the next round.
