"Chornomorets" - "Kryvbas" 1:0

In the away match of the 4th round of the UPL, Kryvbas in Odessa met with the local Chornomorets. Patrick van Leeuwen made two changes to the starting lineup compared to the match against Livyi Bereh.

Jones came in as a pair with Willivald in the center of defense, replacing the injured Mpanzu, and Machado appeared for the first time in the season from the first minutes - on the left instead of the suspended Borges.

First half

Already in the 3rd minute after Jurcec's pass from the right flank, Mulyk headed the ball from the far post - right into Aniagboso's hands. A few minutes later, Chornomorets responded with its own moment: a throw to the left flank of the free kick found Yoka, who shot from an acute angle, but Kemkin confidently played into the goal.

In the 7th minute, Ivan Kohut made a dangerous pass after a diagonal pass, but Kemkin pulled the shot into the far corner. Kryvbas continued to look for their chances. In the 26th minute, Jurcec shot from a distance from the right flank, but the ball flew far from the goal. Two minutes later, Alefirenko from the left flank - low into the hands of Kemkin.

Nevertheless, the red and whites were more active up front: in the 35th minute, after Shevchenko's cross from the left flank, Sek scored a take-off from an acute angle - past the goal. Later, Giovany, after a pass from Sek, shot low towards the far corner, but also missed.

The most dangerous moment of the first half occurred in the 41st minute. Rivas, after a throw-in from Shevchenko, who received a pass from Jurcec, hit the plane from the penalty area line. The shot turned out to be dangerous - Aniagboso had to pull the ball from under the crossbar.

Second half

After the break, the teams continued to play without many dangerous moments. Already in the 49th minute, Kryvbas had a great opportunity to open the score. After a mistake by Aniagboso, Giovany had the opportunity to shoot from afar at an empty net, but missed.

In the middle of the second half, Odessa controlled the ball more in the center of the field. In the 60th minute, Kryvbas already had the advantage in possession, but the red and whites were unable to create any tension near the home team's goal. Closer to the 70th minute, the game became even.

And in the 77th minute, Chernomorets quite unexpectedly opened the score. After a counterattack, Farasieienko put the ball into the far nine with a powerful kick - 1:0. In the playing time that remained until the final whistle, the Kryvyi Rih team did a lot to, or at least, make up for it, but, unfortunately, it was not destined to happen.

The best moment to score a goal was lost in the compensatory time by debutant Cuiza, who, after a pass from Shevchenko, shot close, but Aniagboso kept his goal “locked”. We are losing 0:1.
