"Chornomorets" - "Kryvbas". Preview

On Sunday, August 30, Kryvbas will play an away match in the 4th round of the Ukrainian championship of the 2026/2027 season. The opponent of the red-whites will be Odessa's Chornomorets.

The teams will approach the face-to-face confrontation after the matches of the 3rd round. Kryvbas drew peacefully with Livyi Bereh at home - 1:1. In turn, Chornomorets lost to LNZ in the away match - 0:2. For Odessa, this will be only the third match in the championship: the match of the 2nd round against Kolos was postponed due to the attack of russian thugs on the Chornomorets stadium. In the opening round, the Odesa team also lost to Polissya - 1:2.

The last official meeting of the teams in Odessa took place on December 7, 2024, within the 16th round of the UPL. Then Kryvbas won a bright away victory. The hosts opened the scoring in the first half, but before the break Ilic converted a penalty, and Mykytyshyn put Kryvyi Rih ahead. After the break, Tverdokhlib set the final score - 3:1 in favor of Kryvbas.

Kryvbas will face a difficult away match, in which the red and whites will strive to achieve the maximum result and continue the fight for important tournament points. Unfortunately, our team will definitely not be helped tomorrow by defender Borges, who was sent off in the previous round.
