Cyberfootball EC in Kryvyi Rih. Day two
Representatives of 11 national teams continue to compete for the title of champion in the eFootball PES 2021 discipline. The annual European eFootball Championship is taking place in Ukraine for the first time.
"It is symbolic that the European cyber football championship is held in Kryvyi Rih, the city where the revival of professional football began. Such measures transform the industrial city into a tourist and football center. Representatives of 11 national teams from Azerbaijan, Croatia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine came to Rog.
"E-football is developing most massively in large cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia and Odesa. However, residents of small settlements can also become members of the Ukrainian national team.

It takes place in parallel with the official championship Kryvbas FIFA Cup — competition among amateurs. The winner of the tournament will receive a prize — a Sony PlayStation 5 from FC Kryvbas. The winner will also have the opportunity to become an official representative of the club at virtual football tournaments.
"I am glad that today Kryvyi Rih hosts not only offline matches, but also a cyber football tournament. We will consider the candidacy of the winner of the Kryvbas FIFA Cup as a representative of "Kryvbas" in electronic sports for the next season," emphasized the general director of the "Kryvbas" football club Volodymyr Bayenko.
“My first PES game was in 2005. Professional eSports came into my life 10 years later - in 2015. During this time, I have already managed to take part in various tournaments, the most important of which are Euro2020 and Euro2021.
At this championship, the main rivals for our national team are players from Turkey and Portugal," said the player of the Ukrainian cyber football team Ihor Lyubchak.

In the remaining quarter-final matches, Turkey beat Croatia, Serbia beat Montenegro and North Macedonia got past Azerbaijan.
August 24 at the European Championship — closing day. In the semi-finals, the pairs Turkey - Portugal and Serbia - North Macedonia will meet.

The participants of the championship and famous football players - Mladen Bartulovich, Mykola Kashevskyi, Vitaly Vitsenets, Serhii Shishchenko, Volodymyr Bayenko, Serhii Nazarenko, Gennadiy Prykhodko, Yevhen Yarovenko, Oleksiy Cherednyk and others will play together in the match.
The coaches of the teams are the legendary football player Anatoly Demyanenko and the odious president of FC "Ingulets" Oleksandr Povoroznyuk.
