Denys Matsebura: There is a great desire to develop as a coach in women's football

Denys Matsebura, the senior coach of the girls' team of Kryvyi Rih FA "Kryvbas", "Kryvbas" WU-15, answered the questions of the Sports_ua Instagram project.

- How do girls get into women's football?

- Getting into women's football for girls is currently not a problem. Women's football in our country is currently developing very strongly and becoming popular! In our Academy there are three age groups of girls who practice and improve their skills every day. We invite girls to our Academy in any age category.

- Do you plan to develop here, or do you plan to switch to men's football?- I have a very strong desire to develop as a coach in women's football, I have big and ambitious goals and plans in this regard. Working as a coach of girls' and women's teams, I made many conclusions and formalized them in my work "Psychological features of the development of a women's (girls') football team." And I have spoken on this topic several times at coaching courses for coaches who are getting licenses

- What skills and qualities should a modern coach possess, in your opinion?

- The main thing is psychology, and being on the same page with the team. This will help both the coach and the team. Understanding what exactly the coach wants is already 80% of success and quality work in general. It is also communication and the ability to create a cool atmosphere in the team. These three aspects are fundamental in my subjective opinion.

- Which world-renowned coach would you like to intern with, and why?

- First of all, I want to develop as a coach with my style and my philosophy, but I would not be against an internship with such specialists as Julian Nagelsmann, Jurgen Klopp, Mikel Arteta. Their style of play and the ability to translate their thoughts into a quality team game is captivating.

- What is your sporting dream?

- I dream of becoming the coach of the women's national team of Ukraine - this is the first. And most importantly, I want to help and develop women's (girls') football in our country, popularize it even more and support women in their choice!
