Denys Pidhurskyi, a midfielder for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, spoke about the team's preparations for their UPL Matchday 11 home game against Dynamo Kyiv.

- Denys, a match against Dynamo lies ahead. How special is the motivation when facing an opponent like this?

- We are approaching it with a sense of responsibility. They are a giant of Ukrainian football. Our preparation is no different - it’s just as standard as it would be for any other match.

- You play as a defensive midfielder and a central defender. How important will it be to win the battle for the midfield?

- It’s very important, as Dynamo also places a strong emphasis on this aspect. I believe the battle for the midfield will be one of the decisive factors in this game. We need to play with great responsibility and ensure we cover for one another.

- What specific details might prove key this time around?

- Naturally, a well-coordinated defense is essential. It is also crucial to play responsibly in the final third - the attacking zone - and see our attacks through to their logical conclusion, ensuring that our forays forward end in shots on goal. If we do that, we will certainly have a chance to secure a victory in this match.
