Denys Pidhurskyi: "Kryvbas" is a club with a great history, a cool city and incredible fans

- The debut for Kryvbas is already behind us. Regardless of the result, what emotions remained after the first official match?

- Emotions are mixed. On the one hand, I really wanted to debut for a team like Kryvbas - a club with a great history, a cool city and wonderful fans. Therefore, first of all, I am happy to go on the field. But on the other hand, the feeling is bitter, because we lost, and the result is the most important thing. We will continue to work as a whole team to prevent such results and delight our fans with victories.

- How quickly did you manage to adapt to the requirements of the coaching staff and new partners?

- I knew many of the guys from the team, so I joined the team very easily. As for the coaching staff, this is a new experience for me, because I have never worked with foreign specialists before, there have always been Ukrainian coaches. Now I am adapting to their requirements. Of course, it is not happening so quickly, but I am convinced that I need a little more time, and I will adapt one hundred percent.

- There is a match with Zorya ahead. What do you expect from this match?

- This is a good, ambitious team. There are many experienced Ukrainian football players and high-quality foreign players. The first round has already proven this - they won. It is always difficult and uneasy to play with them. Plus, the weather conditions will be difficult, we need to adapt quickly. We are preparing for this game and expect a good, fighting duel.

Of course, we are focusing on our own game: we want to improve it and get a positive result in Kyiv. Now we have time to prepare. It is very important to win the next match to move forward with a positive attitude in the Premier League season.
