Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih midfielder Dmytro Hodia discusses resuming training after the break and his adaptation to the new team.
- Dmytro, you’ve been with the team for over three weeks now. How is the adaptation process going?
- Overall, the adaptation is going great. I was welcomed warmly, and I already knew some of the guys. So, everything is good - you could say I’ve already settled in. We’re working hard in preparation for the upcoming matches.
- What surprised you most pleasantly after joining Kryvbas?
- I think the biggest highlights are the training process, the coach, and the team as a whole. It’s a wonderful group, so my impressions are entirely positive.
- What goals have you set for yourself this season with the new team?
- To try and win every match; as for where we’ll finish in the standings, we’ll see at the end of the season. I can say for sure that we’ll do everything possible to achieve the best result we can.
- There are still about two weeks until the next official match. Is this a good time to work on things you didn't have time for earlier?
- Yes, after the break, we need to build up our physical fitness. We’ll be putting in some work now - we have two training sessions scheduled per day. We’ll improve both our physical conditioning and tactical aspects.
- The next official match is against Obolon in Kyiv. Are you thinking about that opponent yet?
- It’s a bit too early, to be honest. We haven’t prepared for them yet or analyzed their game. I think we’ll start doing that a little later.
