Jimmy Mpanzu: Happy with my recovery and eager to help the team

Jimmy Mpanzu, the Portuguese defender for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, discusses preparations for the UPL Matchday 8 away game against Obolon Kyiv and his return to the pitch following an injury.

- Jimmy, you’ve returned to action after a long recovery from an injury. How are you feeling now?

- It was quite a long recovery period for me, but I’ve managed to rejoin the team, and I’m very happy about it. I feel good again now and am glad to be able to play and help Kryvbas.

- A match against Obolon is coming up. What can you say about the upcoming opponent, and how important is it not to underestimate them?

- Obolon is a good opponent, of course. They are currently below us in the standings, but that means absolutely nothing. We can't take this game lightly or assume it will be easy. We need to prepare just as seriously as if we were playing against the league leaders.

- How would you assess the team's atmosphere ahead of the match? Are the "Red-and-Whites" ready for the upcoming clash?

- The mood in the team is very good right now. It’s great to see all the guys taking their preparation seriously, working professionally, and giving their all in every training session. We are currently waiting for the players who are away with their national teams to return. Once everyone is back and we are all together, I think we’ll be able to put in a great performance.
