Panamanian newcomer to Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas, midfielder Giovany Herbert gave his first interview as a red-and-white footballer.

- Giovany, why did you decide to continue your professional career in Kryvyi Rih?

- After consulting with my agent, I realized that Kryvbas is the best option for me. I was glad that such a big club paid attention to me, so I am very happy.

- What is your main quality as an attacking midfielder?

- My strongest point is long-range shots on goal. That is what I like to do most on the field.

- What position on the field is most comfortable for you?

- In the position of the "ten". That is where I feel best, because I can help the team and partners more.

- What did you know about Ukrainian football and Kryvbas before?

- I have a partner who plays here - Jones. There is also another Panamanian - Guerrero, he plays for Dynamo. I knew that the UPL is a very competitive league. Since the information about a possible move here appeared, I started following Kryvbas even before the club showed interest in me. And now I am very happy to be here.

- As an attacking player, do you like scoring or assisting more?

- I like both. Both assisting and scoring - it brings joy and helps the team.

- In Kryvbas, you chose number 10. Why this number?

- It is an important number in every team. I want to do great things and show the best version of myself here, in Kryvbas.

- Share: who inspired you as a child?

- Luka Modric. I really liked watching all his matches, he is an incredible player.

- What are your goals for this season?

- My main goal is to do my job well, first of all, to help the team, score goals, rejoice with my partners, enjoy every moment and in the future reach the level of the big leagues.
