"Epicentr" - "Kryvbas". Preview

On Saturday, November 7, Kryvbas will play their next match in the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Premier League season. As part of Matchday 12, the "Red-and-Whites" will face Epiсentr from Kamianets-Podilskyi in an away game.

Previous encounters between these opponents have delivered plenty of goals and excitement. Kryvbas emerged victorious in their last two head-to-head meetings: first, they defeated Epitsentr in a high-scoring 5:4 thriller, and subsequently, they secured a 2–1 win at home. Thus, the "Red-and-Whites" have fond memories of facing the team from Kamianets-Podilskyi. However, past results are now just history, and a new, difficult challenge awaits the team.

Both teams head into this upcoming match following recent setbacks. In the previous round, Epitsentr suffered a 0:1 away defeat to Zorya Luhansk. Prior to that, the team from Kamianets-Podilskyi lost at home to Kharkiv (1:2), drew with Karpaty (2:2), and fell to Kolos (1:3).

Kryvbas also failed to pick up any points in Matchday 11, losing 0:2 at home to Dynamo. Before that, the "Red-and-Whites" played out a goalless draw with Bukovyna (0:0) and suffered defeats against LNZ (0:3) and Polissya (0:1). So, Oleksandr Petrakov’s team will aim to get back to winning ways.

After 11 rounds, Epitsentr has 9 points and sits in 10th place in the standings, while Kryvbas, with 6 points, occupies the 15th spot. Consequently, the upcoming encounter holds special significance for both sides, as each is eager to improve its position in the championship.
