FC "Kryvbas" is second in the First League 2021/22 season

On May 4, a meeting of the Council of the First League was held, convened by PFL president Oleksandr Kadenko. The participants discussed the situation in the championship of Ukraine among teams of the First League of the 2021/2022 season. We will remind you that the championship was suspended after the first part of the season due to the military invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine.

After discussing a number of issues, the working group of the meeting decided to recognize the championship as such that it cannot be played again. It was also decided to determine the places of the teams in the tournament table according to the tournament position they occupied as of November 29, 2021, that is, after the last official match of the first part of the season.

So, Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" took second place in the championship. Also, at the meeting of the PFL, it was decided to postpone the consideration of the transition from one league to another until the completion of the work of the working group of representatives of the UPL, PFL and UAF. It was approved to join the working group of FC "Kryvbas" representatives. And also "Alliance", "Obolon" and "Metalist".

As Oleksandr Kadenko, the president of the First and Second League competitions, told Internet publications, the PFL will apply to the UPL so that the clubs that took first and second place, and possibly third and fourth in the First League, would have the opportunity to participate in the UPL next season.
