Almost two months ago, the 13-year-old pupil of the Kryvbas-1 State Secondary School No. 84 was playing football with a friend on the territory of Gymnasium No. 16. At one point, the ball flew onto the roof of an abandoned two-story building on the territory of the facility. The guy climbed the mountain, but part of the wall collapsed - Vlad was on the ground and a brick fell on him... The doctors' diagnosis was disappointing: a closed fracture of two vertebrae with impaired spinal cord functions. Vladyslav underwent a complex operation and installed metal structures on the damaged area of the spine.
The other day, a guy who was discharged from the hospital came to the training of Kryvbas. His long-time dream was to receive a flag of Ukraine with the signatures of the players of the first team and Yuriy Vernydub, as well as to take pictures with his idols. Kermanych of the Red and Whites spoke with Vladyslav and wished him a speedy recovery. The vice-president of Kryvbas Artem Gagarin invited the boy and his father to attend the next home match of the Kryvyi Rih club.
Vladyslav has a long, difficult rehabilitation ahead of him and, we believe, a return to football. "Kryvbas" also invited Yuriy Ponkin, head of the "Movement Without Borders" NGO, to this meeting and asked the organization to help with the adaptation of the young player.
"We have been cooperating with the organization "Movement Without Borders" for a long time, we thank them for immediately responding to our request. The case with Vladyslav became for us an impetus for more fruitful cooperation and the scaling of this initiative," noted the general director of the Club Volodymyr Bayenko.
