The match of the 21st round of UPL "Kryvbas" - "Kolos" became special for the red and white - "Kryvbas" together with the "Heroes' Tribune" foundation dedicated this game to the memory of the dead and missing ultras of the Club. The families of our Heroes were invited to this match. Unfortunately, since 2014, 18 families have been left without a father, son, husband, or brother by the cursed orcs.
"The Tribuna Heroiv Charitable Fund was created by Ukrainian fans. Its main task is to systematically support the families of football fans who died in the war from all over Ukraine and all those involved in the football-related society, both financially, psychologically and legally. At the moment, unfortunately, we have 235 confirmed dead guys from the sector. We really want their families to feel that they are not alone with the problem. We are grateful to FC "Kryvbas" for the support. He supported our initiative from the first days of the war and has been helping all this time. It is very important for the families of the Heroes to be present at the memory matches. This gives them strength," he emphasized Tikhon Amosov, co-founder of Tribune Heroes.
The "Memory Match" began with a moment of silence in honor of the loyal fans who returned from the war "on the shield". The first symbolic blow in the game was made by Ivan Grachov, the son of the Azov fighter, Maxim "Sima" Grachov, a fan of our Club. The warrior met the beginning of a full-scale invasion in Mariupol, defended the country in the most difficult time and gave the most precious price for its freedom and independence. That evening, Ivan also tried himself as an announcer. Throughout the match, his voice echoed in the stadium and charged the football players to victory.
"It's the first time for me and I was a little nervous. But everyone here supported me. They gave me a new t-shirt with my name and number 10 on it, I could only dream about it. I love football, I play football and dream of playing on the field one day as a player of FC Kryvbas," he said Ivan Grachev.
The special guests of the "Memorial Match" witnessed the incredibly emotional victory of their favorite team, and after the game near the "Heroes' Tribune" of the "Hirnyk" stadium, together with the football players, they took part in honoring all the dead and missing ultras of the Club. Every home game, the Kryvyi Rih Club thanks those who make it possible for all of us to go on the field. But this time, this ceremony turned out to be really special.
"Many thanks to the Ukrainian Premier League and "Colossus" for supporting the initiative of FC "Kryvbas" and "Heroes' Tribune". It was very difficult to hold back when I saw the tears of the mothers and children of our Heroes when we approached the sector with their silhouettes. Unfortunately, on the eve of the game, another sad news arrived that one of the loyal fans of FC "Kolos", Andriy Kokhanovsky, also died while defending the independence of our country. Eternal glory to our Heroes and all defenders of Ukraine," commented the vice president of Kryvbas Artem Gagarin.
There is not one such special game in the plans of the "Heroes' Tribune" foundation. In general, such events are important not only for the families of fallen Heroes, but also for the entire football community. After all, every fan and football player, every employee of the clubs, every football journalist - do not forget and honor the memory of the best sons of Ukraine, who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our State.
