"The STUDENT CUP 2026 is an important initiative for promoting football in Kryvyi Rih. We want football to bring young people together - giving students a chance to express themselves, socialize, compete, and enjoy positive experiences. Tournaments like this help foster a local sports culture and encourage more people to get involved in football.
For the 'Kryvbas' Football Academy, it is essential to serve as an open venue - not just for our own young trainees, but for football initiatives from across the entire city." "We plan to continue holding such competitions, attracting new teams, and creating more opportunities for young people to engage in sports. We hope that the STUDENT CUP will become a fine tradition and that the number of participants in future tournaments will only continue to grow," noted Vitalii Pavlov, Technical Director of FC Kryvbas.
It should be noted that Yaroslav Hopkalo was named the tournament's best player; he also finished as the top scorer, having netted the most goals against opponents.
The STUDENT CUP 2026 marked another step toward the development of student football and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the youth of Kryvyi Rih. FC Kryvbas continues to support sports initiatives and create conditions that allow football to bring as many people together as possible.
