Ihor Yushkevych: The girls gave their all, but there was a lack of implementation

Comments after the match of the 4th round of the Prime League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2026/2027 Women "Shakhtar" - Women "Kryvbas" (2:0).

Ihor Yushkevych, coach of Women "Kryvbas":

- Today we succeeded in self-sacrifice - the girls gave their all. But we failed to realize the moments that were enough for the score to be different. The state of the team's physical form had a great influence on the final result - because we train on artificial turf.

Currently, we are consciously working more as the second number. But in order to have more confidence, we need to control the ball more - that is, switch to the game as the first number. In future home games, I hope we will be able to do this.

Sofia Zuieva, forward of Women "Kryvbas":

- Today's game turned out to be better than the previous times. We entered the field as one team and fought until the last minutes. I think, however, that in some moments we were unfocused. In my opinion, I could have played better if I had grabbed the ball more and created sharp moments. Let's keep working.
