Iryna Novitska: "Kryvbas" matches are a great opportunity to meet friends and become fans together
Iryna Novicka, a member of the Kryvbas Parafan Club for people with disabilities, FC Kryvbas fan club, answered the questions of journalists from the club's media department.
- Tell me, were you interested in football before you became a member of Parafan Club Kryvbas?
- To be honest, I cannot call myself a big fan. My late father was very fond of football, both nephews trained with the local team, so when the opportunity arose to attend matches, I thought, why not?! Moreover, my friends and acquaintances will be with me, and this is a great opportunity to meet and become fans together.
Vladyslav Mykytiuk: They say there is hope, so I will work to achieve my goal
- Remember the moment when you were offered to join this movement and become its member.
- Yuriy Ponkin called us in our chat of the "Movement without Borders" organization. Before that, there were talks that the creation of Parafan was planned, so we discussed this issue a little in the family. By the way, my husband also didn't know much about football, but we decided to go to the Kryvbas game in November of last year. They got involved in the first match, then the second.
- In addition to the fact that you are our support in Parafan, I learned that in ordinary life you are also a real housewife?
- Quite an average housewife, in fact, but my husband and I run the house together and manage well, with minimal help from relatives and a social worker. My husband Mykola is a super owner on wheels. He also made a manual lift to the attic, and a stove in case of cold weather in the workshop, and the fireplace himself, and the gate, and the territory near the house.
- Are you comfortable at the matches, what is the atmosphere like among the Parafan participants?
- The area for carts at the stadium is quite convenient and equipped with ramps, it is easy to enter. The matches are fun and comfortable. And I especially enjoy the smell of the lawn trampled by the feet of football players. Already managed to fall in love with football. The atmosphere is different, depending on who came to the match, because someone cheers calmly and silently, and someone, like me, is drinking "Chervana Ruta".
- Remember some interesting moment that stuck in your memory, maybe that impressed you all the time, being a part of Parafan Club Kryvbas?
- I remember many moments. In our first match between "Kryvbas" and "Dynamo", we got really cold, but it didn't scare us, it didn't push us away. Then I remember how Artem Gagarin, vice president of FC Kryvbas, gave us T-shirts. How Vladyslav, the leader of Parafan, made the first symbolic blow in the match with Vorskla.
Yurii Ponkin: There is a desire to increase the number of members of the Parafan Club Kryvbas
- What is football for you? What emotions does it evoke in you? Who is your favorite FC Kryvbas player?
- For now, for me, football is a party, shouts and excitement of victory. My husband and I are participants in several republican powerlifting competitions from the Kryvyi Rih club "Olympus", so this feeling is by no means alien to us. I haven't decided on my favorite player yet; I perceive the game as a whole, but my husband clearly likes the game of the legionnaires - Dibango and Bizimans.
- So that you want to improve in Parafan, what future do you see together with the Club?
- I wish there were more of us at the matches, so that we would have someone to shout slogans with. We would like to have no worries at the matches - it's hard for us, back-to-back players, to wait for them for a long time in a sitting position. But in this we already hope for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that thanks to them, in the end, peaceful days will replace worries. I really like the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mentioned at the matches and support for them is expressed. Before the match with "Ingulets", a soldier from the 17th Tank Division, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation, approached us. He expressed his respect to us, shook hands with the boys. And it is important that we also always support them. Especially with my own example.
- What is your motto in life?
- My slogan - "Make yourself equal with your life" - is from the "Forest Song". Also, I like the saying of one famous athlete - "Everything is possible. The impossible will simply take more time." In general, I know many good and apt phrases. But the main meaning is to show willpower, not to lose heart and not to drag others into despair.
