Vladyslav Mykytiuk: They say there is hope, so I will work to achieve my goal
The leader of the Kryvbas Parafan Club for people with disabilities, Vladyslav Mykytyuk, answered the questions of journalists from the club's media department.
- Vlad, congratulations. How do you feel, at what stage is your rehabilitation?
- At the moment I feel good. The first month of rehabilitation is over. Muscles are activated, so new sensations appear. They say there is hope, so I will work to achieve my goal.
-What is for you Kryvbas Parafan Club?
- For me, Kryvbas Parafan Club is a circle of communication with people who have also suffered from something terrible. These are people who have more experience, so they can help me if I don't know something or if I have any problems. And these are very cool fans of Kryvbas.
- Remember your first thoughts when you were offered to lead this project?
- When I was offered to lead the Kryvbas Parafan Club, I was very surprised. This is a very cool team. We can come to home and away matches of Kryvbasa, support them with family and friends and have a good time together.
- Do you feel support from FC "Kryvbas"?
- Of course, I feel the support of FC Kryvbas. They invited me to their home training and games. The football players signed autographs, took souvenir photos, gave gifts, these are club attributes. I was very pleased. The Club also bought me a wheelchair, which is very comfortable. I will also remember a surprise on my birthday, it was a meeting with my idol - Ivan Dibango. The meeting was very unexpected and pleasant. They offered me to head the Kryvbas Parafan Club, it's an honor for me. Thanks to "Kryvbas" for not letting us forget what football is and moving in this direction. Thank you for believing in me.
- You had the opportunity to be present at the training of the main team. Tell us about the meeting with the football players, your emotions?
- When I was invited to the home training of "Kryvbas" - I was pleasantly surprised, it was exciting for me. I met with football players who play in the UPL. I was very pleased with this meeting, one of my dreams came true.
- Remember that first match, your emotions, when you were cheering for the red and white team in the Parafan stadium? Then it was you who made the first symbolic blow before the start of the game.
- At the stadium, I saw other people in wheelchairs, got to know each other and became friends. We cheered for "Kryvbas" together. At this match, "Kryvbas" - "Vorskla", I was offered to make the first symbolic kick of the ball. For me, it was the first time in two months that I left the hospital. It was not easy, I admit. But after Danylo Beskorovainy helped to reach the center of the field, it became easier psychologically. Moreover, the fans of "Kryvbas" supported me.
- What are your goals now?
- There is a goal to recover, start studying and return to football.
- What prospects do you see in Kryvbas Parafan Club?
- The prospects are such that other clubs notice that there are such people in wheelchairs, help them, make special places for them. In order for people to somehow be distracted. Now, unfortunately, with wartime, many people need accessibility. Therefore, it is important that they do not withdraw into themselves and come to matches and support.
