Ivan Fedyk: We did a good job, but I can't be completely satisfied

Head coach of Lviv "Ruh" Ivan Fedyk commented on the home match of the 9th round of the UPL against Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" - 1:2 on UPL TV.

- We needed to score earlier, not five minutes before the final whistle. If we had equalized earlier, we would have had more time to put pressure on the opponent. In general, we played well, created chances, but conceded two goals - and this is the result of a lack of concentration.

- Are the goals conceded a consequence of individual mistakes of the players?

- You need to watch the video to accurately assess the situation. But I can say in advance that in both episodes our players did not finish the game.

- "Ruh" had 23 shots on the opponent's goal. Did they set the team up to shoot more often?

- I always set the team up to shoot more often. There are no goals without shots. But it is important not just to score, but to finish the moments qualitatively: to implement one-on-one exits, to accurately shoot from set pieces, into the plane - this is important.

- To summarize, are you satisfied with the team's performance against Kryvbas, the league leader?

- We performed well, but I can't be completely satisfied. We need to work better in defense, not allow the opponent to create chances near our goal, and competently finish the episodes. When the defense is in order, it is easier to move forward. And the goals conceded today cost us points. We are upset.
