Cyber tournament KRYVBAS CYBER CUP 2024: the winner and runners-up have been determined
The best EA Sports FC 24 team was determined in Kryvyi Rih. On June 9, at the initiative of FC Kryvbas and the State University of Economics and Technology, the final stage of the KRYVBAS CYBER CUP 2024 competition took place on the basis of the educational institution.
"Our students wanted to start something similar. This idea was supported by both the trade union and our partners, FC "Kryvbas". Very little time passed before implementation. And we are already thinking about new ideas, even this summer," said the rector of DUET Andriy Shaikan.
16 teams fought for victory in the cyber tournament and for valuable gifts. Starting from the 1/8 finals, the participants and spectators were waiting for tense matches, in which there were a variety of emotions. During the competition, game areas, including table tennis and a console, were constantly open for everyone.
As a result of fierce battles, such was formed three prize winners:
1st place - "FIFAOWNERS" team
2nd place - team "FCVT"
3rd place - "Gang 0564" team
"Although we didn't start the tournament very well, we managed to pull ourselves together and win. I really liked everything, the organization was at the highest level, and the opponents were worthy. I wish there were more such events in Kryvyi Rih," they shared their impressions the winners of the tournament are Vladyslav Boyko and Ilya Boychuk.
All prize-winners received season tickets for home matches of Kryvbas in the UPL, game T-shirts with players' autographs, as well as club merch.
