Kostiantyn Frolov: We lack the speed to compete with the reigning champion

Comments after the match of the 12th round of the first stage of the Higher League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2025\2026 Women "Vorskla" - Women "Kryvbas" (7:0).

Kostiantyn Frolov, head coach of Women Kryvbas:

- I want to congratulate the opponent on a well-deserved victory. The difference in class is significant, and this is confirmed by the final result. "Vorskla" has national team players in its composition. We are a young team. We still lack the speed qualities to compete with the current champion. The teams solve different problems.

"Vorskla" is fighting for the championship, while we have more modest tasks ahead of us. But I am grateful to our girls for this game. They are playing as best they can at the moment. They are good guys. Of course, there are failures somewhere, but this is normal for young football players, for their further progress.

Dariia Zaporozhets, forward of Women Kryvbas:

- The game was difficult. We played against an experienced opponent. It is very interesting for us to play against such teams. The opponent outplayed us in many aspects. We could not switch from defense to attack. Yes, we had our scoring opportunities, but we could not use them, so, unfortunately, we did not score a single goal.
