Kostiantyn Frolov: Not everything worked out, but we tried to fight, keep the pace

Comments after the match of the 14th round of the first stage of the Higher League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2025\2026 Women "Pantery" - Women "Kryvbas" (1:2).

Kostiantyn Frolov, head coach of Women "Kryvbas":

- There was a fierce fight on the field: both in the first half and in the second. We started uncertainly, made a number of mistakes, missed the ball after a corner kick, and the opponent took advantage of our mistakes. However, later we entered the game, started to create chances and scored the ball. We should have scored more. In the second half, we realized another chance - the girls imposed the fight.

We opposed more experienced players, but we held on and, in my opinion, won a natural victory. Not everything worked out, but we tried to fight, keep the pace, play compactly and quickly switch from defense to attack. Some things went well, there were mistakes somewhere, but we understand that this is normal.

Iryna Oliinychenko, midfielder of Women "Kryvbas":

- The girls tried their best, we fought for every goal. We haven't won for a long time, there were defeats and draws. I am sure that this victory will give us a boost, and in the next rounds we will improve our game. I scored two goals, to be honest, I didn't expect such a result, but I worked hard for it. I want to thank our coaches and girls, especially Polina Nazarenko.
