Kostiantyn Frolov: Stakhniuk is progressing and is one of the key players of Women "Kryvbas"

Comments after the match of the 2nd round of the second stage of the Vyshcha League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2025\2026 Women "Polissya" - Women "Kryvbas" (1:1).

Kostantyn Frolov, head coach of Women "Kryvbas":

- We played 1:1 with a very strong team, balanced in all lines; the girls are of a good level. But we resisted them due to organization, fighting qualities. In the first half it was very difficult, the opponent prevailed with strength, desire and skill. But after the break, the girls and I had a conversation, discussed several points on tactics, rebuilt and imposed a fight.

We scored, in my opinion, a very good goal. A draw is a natural score. As for Stakhniuk's goal, we are counting on such goals. We are working on this component - standards - in training. Anastasia knows how to execute them, and this time she scored. She is progressing, and is one of the key players of our team.

Anastasiia Stakhniuk, midfielder of Women “Kryvbas”:

- The match was not easy for us, I will note a lot of struggle. I think that in the second half we played better. In the first half we lost the struggle, and after the break we managed to score and gain one point. Before the break there were few rebounds in the center of the field, because of this there were a little lack of episodes for attacks. Plus the execution. In general, I am satisfied with the team, everyone tried, gave their all. I think if we had pressed more in the first half, then maybe the result could have been victorious.
