Kostiantyn Frolov: We have a lot of young players and they need time
Comments after the match of the 7th round of the first stage of the Vyshcha League of the Women's Championship of Ukraine 2025\2026 Women "Kryvbas" - Women "Ladomyr" (1:4).
Kostiantyn Frolov, head coach Women Kryvbas:
- We got the removal in the third minute and quickly missed a goal - the opponent immediately won the advantage. But it is worth paying tribute to the girls: they did not lower their hands, tried to control the game, break the match and create moments. Even the age of ten we owned the ball.
However, we still lack the class in the attack - they had several goals that did not implement. We score the ball - the rival. There was still a wonderful chance of Zolotina at the expense of 2:1, when she replaced: if she realized the moment, the score could be a draw. But we opened, and as a consequence - at the end of the meeting missed two more balls.
- How do you comment on the process of adapting our updated young team in the Vyshcha League?
- Adaptation is not easy, because the girls immediately got into competition of the Vyshcha League and are forced to play against more experienced rivals. Hence the results. We have many young people and they need time. Everyone has to add in their individual qualities so that the team becomes stronger and more competitive.
Alina Gorodetska, midfielder Women Kryvbas:
- Unfortunately defeat. At the beginning of the match remained in the minority, so it was more difficult. They missed two goals before the break. But in the second half we tried to break the course of the match, and we almost succeeded. But in the limb missed and gave way.
