"Kryvbas" reached the mark of 800 goals in the championships of Ukraine

The match of the 2nd round of the 2026/27 UPL against Luhansk's Zorya became historic for our club.

Kryvbas scored the 800th anniversary goal in the elite of Ukrainian football. Kryvyi Rih have been playing in the Ukrainian championships since 1992, and during this time the team has overcome the landmark goal mark of 800 goals scored. The anniversary goal was Kryvbas' second goal against Zorya.

In the 61st minute, Giovany Herbert received the ball in front of the penalty area and sent it into the far nine with a powerful kick - 1:2. Thus, it was the Panamanian who became the author of the anniversary goal of the red-and-whites.

Interestingly, the first goal of Kryvyi Rih in the Ukrainian championships was scored back in 1992 - at the start of the club's history in the national championship. More than three decades have passed since Kryvbas' first goal to its 800th.

And Herbert's anniversary goal helped the team make a comeback in Kyiv. 800 goals in the elite of Ukrainian football - 800 pages of Kryvbas' history. And we continue to write it together!
