"Kryvbas" - "Gent" 2:1
Kryvbas played their final friendly match at the summer training camp in the Netherlands against the Belgian Pro League team, Gent. Patrick van Leuven's team won a strong-willed victory with a score of 2:1.
First half
The match began with a conceded goal: in the 9th minute, Diop took advantage of a defensive error and opened the score - 0:1. Two minutes later, Jan Jurcec could have restored the balance, but his free kick was intercepted by the crossbar.
In the 13th minute, Kryvbas equalized. Giovany, after receiving a pass from one of the players on the review, burst into the penalty area and with a powerful shot into the near corner left the goalkeeper no chance - 1:1. Before the break, the red and whites created several more dangerous moments: Shevchenko, Seck and Giovany had their chances. It was the Panamanian who scored a brace in the 44th minute, striking the near corner of the goal with a spectacular long-range shot - 2:1.
Second half
In the second half, Kryvbas continued to control the course of the match. Shevchenko made two dangerous passes, and rookie Mashadu had a good chance to score, narrowly missing the goal with a long-range shot. Kamenskyi, Bodnar, and Butenko also had their chances in the final minutes, but the score did not change.
Thus, Kryvbas defeated Gent (2:1) and ended the second summer training camp in the Netherlands on a high note. Ahead of the team is a return to Kryvyi Rih and the final stage of preparation for the start of the new season.
