Kryvbas is preparing for a cup match against Zorya

Kryvyi Rih’s Kryvbas continues preparations for another major challenge: an away match in the Round of 16 of the 2026/2027 BETON Ukrainian Cup against Zorya Luhansk. The encounter will take place this Thursday, October 29, in Kyiv.

Following their match against Bukovyna in the 10th round of the UPL (0:0), the "Red-and-Whites" had very little time to recover and prepare for their next fixture. The team gathered at the club’s training base on Monday for a session, focusing primarily on player recovery from the previous match and preparing for a demanding schedule of upcoming games.

Since Tuesday, Kryvbas has been operating on a single-session daily training schedule. The training process is geared specifically toward the Cup match, as there is virtually no time for a full-scale training cycle. Under these circumstances, it is crucial not only to analyze the opponent's strengths but also to ensure the squad is in the optimal physical and psychological condition for the match.

On Wednesday, the "Red-and-Whites" will travel to the capital to finalize their preparations for the game. The team faces a decisive clash that will determine who advances to the quarter-finals of the Ukrainian Cup.
