"Kryvbas" - "Inhulets" 1:2
The first test match of the summer offseason, Kryvbas, was held at home against Ingulets, a representative of the First League.
First half
Kryvbas started actively and from the very first minutes seized the initiative. The first dangerous moment arose in the 5th minute: Yaroslav Shevchenko dared to take a shot from 25 meters, but the ball flew just above the crossbar.
The guests responded with a sharp attack in the 12th minute. After going almost one-on-one with the goalkeeper, the Ingulets player could have opened the score, but Kemkin demonstrated an excellent reaction and saved his team.
Soon after, Shevchenko again tested the vigilance of the opponent's defense with a long-range shot, but this time the ball also flew over the goal. In the 17th minute, Kryvbas earned a corner: Yurchets made a pass from the flag, and Mulyk tried to complete the attack, but without success.
In the 19th minute, Kryvbas deservedly took the lead. After an unsuccessful clearance by the Ingulets goalkeeper, the ball was intercepted by Araujo, who instantly passed it to Shevchenko. The midfielder entered the penalty area and opened the score with a precise low shot into the far corner - 1:0.
However, in the 26th minute, the guests restored balance. The referee awarded a penalty for an alleged foul by Bodnar in his own penalty area; the opponent confidently converted the 11-meter kick, executing it with a "miss" in the center of the goal - 1:1.
At the end of the half, the red and whites were close to the second goal. In the 32nd minute, after a cross from Bodnar from the right flank, Araujo powerfully hit the ball into the touchline, but the ball flew just centimeters above the crossbar. And a few minutes after the corner kick, Villivald won the horse fight and headed it into the post.
Second half
After the break, Ingulets quickly took the lead. In the 48th minute, the guests took advantage of a mistake by Kryvyi Rih during the development of the attack: after intercepting the ball, the opponent organized a rapid attack, which ended with an accurate shot from close range - 1:2.
Later, the Kryvbas coaching staff focused on reviewing the performers. During the second half, Patrick van Leeuwen made a number of substitutions, giving playing time to a large group of young players. Players from the U-19 team and students of the Kryvbas Football Academy appeared on the field, for some of whom this match was their debut in the main team.
Despite the desire of the red and whites to fight back, after numerous personnel changes, the game lost its integrity. Kryvbas tried to create moments near the opponent's goal, but there were few dangerous opportunities to score, and they failed to realize them.
