"Kryvbas" - "Kolos" 1:1

In the final official match of 2025, Kryvbas hosted Kolos at home in the 16th round of the UPL. Patrick van Leeuwen decided not to change the starting lineup compared to the last victorious match against Oleksandria.

First half

Both teams started the game actively. In the 6th minute, Tsurikov shot from an acute angle – Makhankov converted it to a corner. Kryvbas responded in a few minutes. A quick counterattack took place, Paraсo passed to Mykytyshyn in the penalty area, against whom the former player of the red and whites Ponedelnik openly fouled – a penalty after reviewing VAR.

Tverdokhlib confidently shot from the mark, deflected the ball and the goalkeeper from different angles, and thus scored the seventh goal in the UPL this season – 1:0. The game went on opposite courses. Kolos had a good moment in the 16th minute, when Klymchuk missed the goal from a good position on the second floor.

Later, Kryvbas played more sharply. Pakholuk made two real saves in the middle of the half after dangerous shots by Paraсo (twice) and Tverdokhlib. At the end of the half, the guests wasted another good chance: Kane made a pass to Telles, whose shot from the edge of the penalty area was saved by the post.

Second half

The beginning of the second half was an even fight, in which the opponent managed to score and equalize the score. A corner kick led to a weak shot by Krasniqi from close range - Makhankov parried the ball, but it was already behind the goal line - 1:1.

Kryvbas went ahead for the victory, and there were moments. Dangerous shots by Tverdokhlib (twice), Paraco – the defense of “Kolos” held out, although it was difficult. Kovalev played openly to keep the score, while our team constantly moved forward with the support of its home fans.

At the end of the match, the opponent remained in the minority, and the attacks of Kryvyi Rih became even sharper and more frequent. But it was not possible to pressure the opponent. We end the year with a fighting draw. Thank you to our team for the first half of the season.
