"Kryvbas" - "Livyi Bereh" 1:1

"Kryvbas" - "Livyi Bereh" 1:1

Kryvbas hosted Livyi Bereh in their second home match of the new season. We would like to note the debut of Venezuelan newcomer Rivas in the starting lineup.

First half

The match started with difficulties for the hosts. In the 3rd minute, Mpanzu was injured in a collision with Wendell. Our center-back received medical attention, and later a forced substitution took place - Jones came on the field instead of the Portuguese. Cheers, Jimmy!

Kryvbas started to act very actively up front. In the 11th minute, Rivas found himself in a striking position, but his shot was blocked by former Kryvyi Rih player Banada. In the 18th minute, the hosts opened the scoring! Active Rivas received the ball on the left flank from Shevchenko, who played brilliantly in the tackle, went forward, beat the opponent and without a run powerfully scored into the near nine - 1:0!

"Livyi Bereh" could quickly fight back. In the 23rd minute, Wendell ran one-on-one with Kemkin and forced the goalkeeper to break the rules, but ended up offside. Referee Serhiy Zadyran personally reviewed the episode additionally on VAR. At the end of the half, chances arose exclusively near the guests' goal.

In the 30th minute, Seck tried to get the ball, but Zhmurko played ahead. In the 45th minute, Rivas already scored from a free kick, but the shot was blocked. In the injury time, Herbert fired a shot from a turn, which the opponent took over, and Navi shot over the goal with the next attack.

Second Half

The second half started with a big delay due to anxiety. After the break, Livyi Bereh started actively, trying to fight back, but Kryvbas' defense neutralized all threats near their own goal for a long time.

In the 53rd minute, the guests had a great opportunity to equalize - Wendell was in a killing position, but did not hit the ball. A few minutes later, Vorobchak shot from 15 meters, but very inaccurately. Kryvbas responded with their own chances. In the 55th minute, Zhmurko parried Herbert's dangerous shot into the far corner while jumping. A minute later, Seck tried to shoot at the far post, but his shot was unsuccessful. In the 59th minute, Shevchenko shot dangerously, but the visitors' goalkeeper saved his team again.

And already later, Kryvbas was left in the minority. Borges in an unfortunate episode lost his position to Vorobchak and violated the rules, receiving a second yellow card. Playing with ten men, the hosts still continued to create chances. In the 65th minute, Rivas shot powerfully from 25 meters, but the ball flew near the post. Gradually, the guests took the initiative, and later took advantage of the numerical advantage. They carried out a rapid attack: a partner rolled the ball to Sidney, and in one touch he pierced Kemkin with a long-range shot - 1:1.

Until the end of the match, “Livyi Bereh” mostly continued to look for opportunities for a second goal. In the 75th minute, Voloshin shot dangerously from long range, but the guests' midfielder lacked accuracy. In the last 10 minutes, Kemkin truly saved “Kryvbas” from a sure goal several times, once again demonstrating his high class. So we have a 1:1 draw.
